Godlisten Masuki, graduate of Nairobi Great Commission School's Extension officially took over from Charles Ngoje as the minister for the Moshi Church of Christ.

The members of the former Moshi Town Church of Christ. The name has changed to River Side Church of Christ. They are here standing in front of their official church building. From the sale of the plot in down Moshi, they were able to buy this new plot by the riverside of Majengo Estate. And with donations from friends, they were able to put up their own church building.

We had a very fulfilling Church service. With 40 in attendance. It was just wonderful eating breakfast together and doing a Bible study instead of traditional preaching. The Sunday school children had presentations to perform before the Church.

Our theme this morning was, ‘Jesus the missionary.’
Based on inductive study of Mathew 1:18 – 2

Our synopsis being:
He came to the World as a baby
Poor and vulnerable.
He emptied himself
that we could be filled.
He denied himself everything
that we may be provided for.
He became like us
and lower than us
that we may follow God.
Should we love him less?

The children threw a surprise performance to the church this morning and it was beautiful. Anna and Shana also gave a moving song -one they learnt at the Winyo Christian Academy

model of church building

Dear friends,

It is our earnest prayer that this coming year, God will give us a church building. The building will be used as classroom for pre-school children over the week. A friend of mine did us a design and developed a model to go with it. Here we share the model. The building at the current market rates needs US $ 42,500. Help the Moshi Church of Christ in prayer for a church building!

Thank you and God bless you.

Charles (minister)
